MICHAL DAHAN

Prior to founding Dahan Advisory LLC, Michal accumulated over fourteen years of experience in the legal field. With business, litigation, and academic legal experience accrued in the halls of top BigLaw and In House companies, she brings with her a wealth of diverse legal knowledge and expertise.

Michal served as General Counsel to ACGM, Inc., an SEC and FINRA registered broker dealer, and Abadi & Co., a financial services company providing advisory services on emerging market governments, banks, and private sector companies, for over seven years.
​
She began her career as a commercial litigator for Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP where she represented and provided advice to leading financial institutions and major corporations in complex commercial litigation relating to commercial disputes, securities law, shareholder actions, bankruptcy matters, government investigations, and other aspects of corporate law. She also worked as a litigator for inMotion, Inc. (now HerJustice), an organization devoted to providing legal services to low income and under-served women primarily in the areas of matrimonial, family and immigration law. Over the course of her career she worked for Kiryat Ono Comparative Research Center and Shalom Comparative Law Center as a researcher, editor, consultant and contributing guest lecturer and as an academic editor.

Michal has been recognized for her pro bono work and is the recipient of 2008 Legal Aid Society Pro Bono Award. She holds various memberships in professional legal organizations including the NY State Bar Association.

Michal is admitted to the NY State bar and is a certified FINRA arbitrator.

She earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she graduated with honors, cum laude and Dean’s List. She holds a B.S. in Communications from Boston University, where she graduated magna cum laude. Michal has recently completed the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School and is in the process of completing a Masters degree in Mediation.
